Welcome to the Method of Hand Tied and Machine Sewn Beaded Wefts Extensions!
What are Hand-tied wefts?
Hand-tied wefts are a type of extension where thousands of individual human hair strands are tied by a human onto a string in a row, similar to a veil. This process can take hours to make a weft!
Hand-tied wefts provide a thinner base, so that the attachment area lays nice and smooth to your scalp to provide a comfortable, lighter weight row. They blend into your own hair in a way that are more easily hidden than other methods for the most flexibility, like that cute high ponytail or messy bun you love!
What are Machine Sewn Wefts?
Machine Sewn Wefts are manufactured with equipment that sews hair onto a string in a row. The manufacturing process is more efficient than hand-tied.

These are ideal for medium to thick hair textures, as their base is a bit thicker than the hand-tied method. They still lay flat to the head, and add volume and length.

They are comfortable to wear and have the highest coverage.
How are they installed?
Install:
Wefts are actually sewn into your hair. To do this, a track is made in your natural hair using silicone lined beads and string. Then wefts are sewn onto this track. Multiple wefts are staggered across the track to create the perfect balance and density, and equal weight distribution for comfort.
One to three rows of these tracks are added depending on your desired goals. Installation can take anywhere from 2 hours on up to 4.5 hours. Custom coloring and blending the cut is all included.
Maintenance:
As your hair grows, the rows that are attached to your hair will appear lower on your hair, since the hair it is attached to is your actual living, growing hair. This makes the extensions loose.
Because of this, we need to move up the wefts into your hair so that they remain at your scalp and don’t grow out with the rest of your hair.
This keeps them more hidden and minimizes the tension on your hair that is attached to your extensions and minimizes damage at the root of your hair. It also makes the extensions easier to style when they are closer to your root rather than hanging down.

This maintenance is done between 6 to 8 weeks after install, and includes gloss and conditioning of extensions.

How much does it cost for extensions and what is included?
The cost of hair varies by length, color, and how much is needed. Included in price is extension hair, refreshing your actual hair's color, custom coloring the extension hair to match your natural hair, installing them, cutting them to blend with your own hair, and style. And, of course, a mini photo shoot of your before and after, and a take home starter kit.
Commonly Asked Questions
Will my hair be super long?
That is completely up to you! I offer extensions for length, thickness, or both. The lengths range from 14" to 25".
How long will the hair last?
With proper home care by following my detailed instructions, your hair can last up to 9 months. I will go over all the details when you come in for your consultation.
Can I swim with extenstions?
Yes! But there are rules here...Hair needs to have a leave in conditioner in it, and you want to have it braided so the strands won't be able to tangle in the water.
Are extensions comfortable?
After the fresh install, you will notice that your hair will feel a little heavy, because you just added more hair and the weight to it is an adjustment. But a day or 2 later, you will start to get used to them and won't hardly even notice them there, like they have always been a part of you.
How long does my hair need to be?
I like to have you start out with your own hair being around the top of your shoulder or longer. It will be easier to blend this way. But if your goal is just to thicken up your hair and not add much length, it could be shorter than that.
Will it take longer to style?
Yes and no... you will be doubling the amount of hair on your head so you can expect the added blow dry time from that. But, extension hair tends to hold curls and style for days, meaning you will only have to do mini touch ups, and can go longer between shampoos.
Can you tell that I have extensions in?
Can I wear my hair up in a ponytail?
No, they are customized to blend and hide in your natural hair. As long as you do the proper maintenance and come in for your move ups on time, everything will look like your were born with this hair.
Of course! In fact you can braid it, make a messy bun, high or low pony, and no one will know.
Is the hair real human hair?
It is 100% human hair. The hair is REMY hair, which means the cuticle is intact and each individual strand is sewn onto the weft in the same direction, of natural growth. This makes the hair smooth and prevents tangles so it stays healthier longer.
